How Valmore Began
On the southwestern coast of Sicily, in the fertile Belìce Valley near Castelvetrano, our story takes root. These lands have sheltered olive groves since before the rise of Selinunte in the 17th century B.C. a timeless landscape where civilizations flourished in harmony with nature. Here, among sun, sea breeze, and stone, the tradition of olive oil was born and passed down.

Our Story
In 2009, Nicolò Asta founded Valmore with a clear vision: to honor the family groves of Castelvetrano and bring their excellence to the world. Valmore is both tribute and commitment, reviving the legacy of generations while expressing the character of a land celebrated for centuries as one of Sicily’s finest olive regions. Guided by professional expertise and heartfelt passion, we bottle oils that reflect the authenticity and richness of this territory.

We work alongside select local farms, small, professional, family-run enterprises, ensuring that every bottle carries not only superior quality, but also the spirit of Sicilian resilience.
