“U panaru sicilianu” is a hand-woven basket, traditionally made from interwoven strips of cane and wild olive twigs. It was originally used by housewives for shopping or carrying bread, eggs, or fruit.

Materials: Sicilian common cane (Arundo donax L., 1753) and wild olive twigs (Olea europaea var. sylvestris L., 1753).

Dimensions: upper diameter 26cm; height 8cm; weight 260g

Each basket is handmade and may have slight variations due to the use of natural materials. Every basket is uniquely crafted.
